Excellent service with prompt assistance

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

Our demand for external black-box monitoring of important business services and domain health is met by Uptime.com. We've been able to respond more quickly to possible service availability concerns as they develop, and in the case of domain health, we've been able to prevent issues from arising in the first place.

What do you like the best?

Uptime.com features a simple and user-friendly online interface, as well as a well-documented API for programmatic access. The Product and Support teams have been very sensitive to our demands and are constantly working to improve the service. Uptime.com's service is competitive with other leading providers and easy to set up. Probe server maintenance is informed well in advance, therefore there have been no surprises in terms of monitoring service uptime.

What do you dislike?

Infrequent yet "bursty" use cases, such as infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, are not tolerated by the present API rate limiting policy.

Does what it's supposed to do and works as expected!

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

We use Uptime.com's built-in "site checks" to check the availability of our hosting server. This provides us with the assurance that a dedicated, external service is testing server response codes (and more, if needed). The most significant advantage has been an almost instantaneous alert whenever downtime is noticed. This enables our system administrators/dev-ops to swiftly diagnose the problem and restore any affected services or servers.

What do you like the best?

We've also appreciated the reporting, which allows us to demonstrate to clients that we're maintaining a specific level of server uptime. A general report is sent to the users you specify, and it contains all of the apps/websites/domains you've designated for "checks" by the service. SLA Reports, on the other hand, allow us to build server uptime reports "per check" (per site, domain, etc.) so that we may send a report to a single client with only the information that is relevant to them. We're glad Uptime thought to include several sorts of reporting because that would have been our top feature request if it hadn't already been done.

What do you dislike?

To be honest, nothing so far. The service is clear and straightforward, and it performs as expected. Because the nature of the software is that it's basic, it works, and we have no difficulties with it right now, it's difficult to come up with a list of dislikes.

"Consistent site monitoring"

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

Monitoring our websites and services, as well as delivering incident notifications so that they may be immediately remedied.

What do you like the best?

What I appreciate best is the possibility to choose the notification manner. The team can pick between SMS, push notifications, email, and phone to communicate in the most comfortable method.

What do you dislike?

The planning and package structure are now rigid, however this will soon change to a more flexible format.

"A good substitute for Pingdom"

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

To keep track of servers and services, I use Uptime.com.

What do you like the best?

My service hasn't caused me any issues. I appreciate the integration with Slack.

What do you dislike?

The checkout page is a bit perplexing. I was billed for a year of service at first, and I didn't notice it because I assumed I was purchasing a monthly membership. Getting a return and continuing the subscription on a month-to-month basis was a significant pain.

"Easy to use website monitoring software"

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

I was merely seeking for a simple solution with a dashboard that I could demonstrate to a customer who wanted to track the uptime. It's beneficial to have a third-party, such as Uptime, provide an objective perspective on our systems.

What do you like the best?

I enjoy the UI's simplicity, and I think there's a fair selection of monitors, ranging from standard web monitors to simple transactions and end-user performance. Their customer service team is easy to contact, and members respond quickly. They rapidly resolved an issue I encountered with an SSL certificate monitor.

What do you dislike?

I wish we could change the monitors' user-agent string. It took some coding to recognise the user-agent and not treat it like an ancient Internet Explorer or anything like.

"It does a good job of checking uptime, although it's a touch light on information display."

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

It's what we utilize to let us know when there's a problem with our website. We also use it to see how the performance of our website differs depending on where you are on the planet. We intend to use it as a status page as well but have yet to do so.

What do you like the best?

So far, it's done a great job of documenting when our site is up or down, which is what it's supposed to do, so that's nice. We've found Uptime's integrations with other systems (Slack, PagerDuty, etc.) to be really useful. We've also discovered that they have an excellent API and comprehensive instructions on how to use it.

What do you dislike?

They have some graphs to display the data, however they are a little weak. The only options for showing check data in graphs are to view a single line with an average of all locations or to choose a specific site. Our earlier solution allowed you to view lines for each location, which is useful if you want to observe if a certain site is acting strangely. Another thing I didn't care for was that some of the alerts could have been a little more detailed. For example, whenever there are more than one location down, we receive an alert; however, it would be nice to know whether the warning was issued because only one location was down or because all of the locations were down.

"Excellent monitoring service"

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

In our calculation shop, we've organised our entire procedure. Starting with our login page and ending with the creation of bills for our customers. We investigated a few options and found that uptime offers the best value for money. The transactions and checks are simple to set up, and it's a delight to use. E-mail, sms, and phone calls are all options for notification. Everything is monitored, from real-time user tracking to transactions and certifications.

What do you like the best?

We enjoy the transactions because they are easy to set up and adaptable. Certificate monitoring is also highly suggested for us, and it is simple to set up. The price-to-performance ratio is excellent. The reports that were created are ideal for our needs.

What do you dislike?

We couldn't upload a file to our website throughout the transactions, thus we couldn't show our entire customer workflow in the check. We must first log in, after which we must upload a file to our cad-service, which will calculate the worksteps and render the file. The customer is subsequently presented with an offer, which he can download and use to place his order. We can't test the steps behind the scenes without the upload. So we only use the transaction for login, which shows us that auth0 and our application are both available.

"After several years of use, an assessment of Uptime"

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

We didn't have to build a single source of monitoring for our essential systems. We had little trouble setting up the initial testing and accounts, as well as the notifications we desired. Furthermore, it can handle both simple and complex tests for rapid and easy deployment, as well as more sophisticated testing for critical systems. We needed a mechanism to swiftly and clearly alert our team members, and Uptime delivered.

What do you like the best?

Even low-skill personnel will find it simple to set up. It's also good that you can customise the notifications in so many different ways. It satisfies all of our needs, regardless of the expertise level of the people getting the notifications. Uptime sends notifications to a variety of people for us, from tier 1 tech support to a developer to a Senior Vice President.

What do you dislike?

People need to be taught where things in menus are located. For technically skilled users, it's intuitive; however, we use this application in our support team for basic monitoring, so it takes a bit more training. We're not implying that the system is flawed; rather, we've discovered that our users have trouble remembering what's what. Because you get out what you put in, we have developers implement our more complicated tests.

"Uptime's two key features are flexibility and reliability."

What problems are you solving with UptimeAudit? What benefits have you realized

We needed to keep track of our services' availability and deliver thorough information on the SLAs we promised to our clients. On both fronts, Uptime proved capable of meeting our needs; currently, we have a customised and public dashboard that allows our clients to see the platform's operational status, and we automatically submit a report every month to ensure that the SLAs are met.

What do you like the best?

We've been Uptime customers for two years and are really pleased with the service. Its primary characteristics are versatility (assured by a variety of executable test kinds), ease of use (you don't need to be an engineer to utilise the platform), and the piece of mind that comes with knowing that your services are being monitored by a professional and trustworthy organisation.

What do you dislike?

We have nothing noteworthy to share at this time.
