This is extremely important when developing cross-platform users and solutions. These days, there are a variety of messaging services and networks to choose from. Twilio may serve as the backend for all of them at the same time. If your product leverages messaging APIs to communicate with and deliver to thousands of clients, you need a backend that can handle it. Twilio is excellent at this.
Twilio was introduced to me at a hackathon in 2016, and I was impressed by how simple Twilio's REST API is to use. I was able to construct a prototype app that could send SMS to customers in just a few hours thanks to the excellent documentation. Twilio is the only text messaging service I'm aware of enabling automatic SMS messaging within apps, and I've been pleased with it thus far.

Twilio gives me the best platform to drive customer engagement. It works also as a feedback tool to gather feedback from survey SMS.
Super easy to set up as they have an open API that can be integrated with a lot of different programs. Overall it's great and it's very well priced so that you can use it for any of the programs you have.
There aren't any cons that I can think of right now. Analytical data should be improved on SMS engagement.

Very useful especially in building for cross-platform users and solutions. There are several messaging services and networks these days. Twilio can be the backend for all those at once. If your software uses messaging APIs to talk and deliver to thousands of customers, you definitely have a robust backend to handle it. Twilio does a great job at that.
